THE PROBLEM
Violations after violations. Non cooperation from the citizens. Traffic enforcers inconspicuousness. All of these is happening every minute of everyday on the streets and we are all guilty beyond it, we did it ourselves or we saw someone who actually do it and since it won’t affect us, we just let it be.
Apprehensions are only doable when Police and Traffic Enforcers are in sight but what about when they don't? what about when the ordinances and road rules are being respite upon? And the worst case scenario is that accidents can actually happened in the blink of an eye, where should they looked for evidences? CCTV? Might help but with the low quality cameras being installed in the streets, it will still be a drift.
CONCEPT
Since we are all aware that Traffic Enforcers are minimal compared to the cars, drivers and commuters, it will be very hard for them to apprehend and discipline those who do not abide with the law all at the same time.
We can always use the participation of citizens and it can make a huge difference when it comes to evidences and what might actually happened during the time.
Developing an application by the name of “PATRIOT” will make a vast impact on the road. This application can be downloaded on all kinds of platforms and will be maintain by the Transportation Department. All uploaded videos’ owner should be kept confidential not unless the uploader chooses to be named on. Assessment and Examination of the video must be done by a well learned IT Professional (Police expert) to make sure that it is legit and real for these videos can be use as an evidence for issuance of ticket.
All uploaded videos can be viewed once asked by the defendant and the ticket shall be send through cellphone, email or via airmail. A website will be assigned to store videos as evidence for the defendant to check their violence videos using special code.
